Fans Camp Out For Final Harry Potter Book

Eager fans have been queuing outside British bookshops ahead of the release of the final installment in the J.K. Rowlings record-breaking Harry Potter series.

Thousands of fans from all over Europe some of whom have come dressed as their favourite Harry Potter character - have camped out for two days to be one of the first to get their hands on a copy of Harry Potter And The Deathly Gallows.

Finn Laura Halinen tells the Daily Star: The book is being released in Finland in English but there are no Potter parties there. This is the biggest one in Europe.

Pottermania has sparked a price war, with supermarket giant Asda set to sell the 17.99 book at 5 a copy.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Gallows goes on sale at midnight tonight.
