Pierce Brosnan’s New Role

Some thought he was crazy for quitting as 007, but Pierce Brosnan has landed a new role that make up for his lack of being a hotshot agent ? He?s narrating the voice of the Fat Controller in the children?s show Thomas the Tank Engine! Choo choo!

Brosnan said: ?One of my fondest memories as a father was sharing the stories of Thomas the Tank Engine series with my children when they were young.?

The 007 hunk goes on to tell the Daily Mirror: ?I am thrilled by the opportunity to be the narrator for this beloved series, following in the shoes of so many famous names, and helping introduce Thomas and friends to many more generations of children.?

Other famous names who have participated in the show include Ringo Starr, comic George Carlin, and actors Michael Brandon Michael Angelis and Alec Baldwin. Although we doubt Alec ever sat down with his daughter and watched the show with her. Maybe he should start , it could help repair his damaged relationship with her.

The brand new Thomas the Tank Engine will be shown on Channel Five and Nickelodeon next autumn.
