Harrison Ford has reprtedly signed on for even more Indiana Jones movies - as has young co-star Shia LeBeouf.
If the rumours are true - Ford will make three more movies - and LeBeouf four.
Initially it had been assumed the fourth film would be the last, however new rumours have surfaced on the Internet that Ford is keen on making as many as he can.
The LeBeouf rumour suggests that his character, firmly believed to be Indy?s son, will take over for possibly a new series of adventures.
Lucasfilm has categorically denied the rumours, although their secretive nature regarding future projects means the statement has fallen on deaf ears.
A stumbling block may be Ford?s age, realistically a fourth film couldn?t be complete until Ford is nearly 70 ? and a take-over film would also be largely dependant on the popularity of LeBeouf?s character.
What they have revealed is that they are considering an animated series to follow on the films. Much the same as the ?Star Wars? franchise, a computer-animated series is being mulled over by the studio. This would present a ?safer? option for Lucasfilm, as Ford would presumably just have to voice Indy.
