The toxicology report on WWE star Chris Benoit and his family have been concluded, and it has emerged the wrestler had steroids, as well as a number of other drugs in his system when he allegedly killed himself and his wife and son.
Benoit had ten times the normal level of testosterone in his body, which he injected shortly before he died. The anti-anxiety drug Xanax and the painkiller hydrocodone were also found in his system authorities said - he did however test negative for alcohol though.
Doctor Kris Sperry, a top medical examiner, said that although steroids were found in the wrestlers body, it does not mean that roid rage was responsible for the murder of his wife Nancy and his son Daniel;
"An elevation of that ratio does not translate into something abnormal in a person's thought process or behaviour."
The toxicology report also says that Daniel appeared to be sedated before he was asphyxiated, and Nancy had a therapeutic level of sedatives in her body - both bodies tested positive for Xanax.
Benoits doctor, Phil Astin, has been charged with over-prescribing painkillers, although he has not pleaded guilty.
