Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has denied being anything more than �friends� with soccer ace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Basu, who was pictured locking lips with Ronaldo at a nightclub in Lisbon, has revealed that while she is a fan, the pair are nothing more than close acquaintances.
�I was like a fan to begin with. But after we bonded we just became two individuals, bonding as buddies over an important international event� Basu told IANS.
�I felt like a princess. He gave me so many compliments. He danced with me throughout the night. There were 50,000 jealous women staring at us,
�The local girls wanted to murder me. Now he wants to e-mail me regularly.�
Basu has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend, fellow Bollywood actor John Abraham - who is said to be devastated by reports of her alleged infidelity.
