Two snippets of news emerging from the internet have given us a little peek into what to expect from the highly-anticipated bat-sequel, The Dark Knight.
The first is that a new addition to the series, Aaron Eckhart, revealed the villain Two-Face WILL be in the movie.
Secondly speculation has emerged that a teaser trailer will be ready as quickly as two weeks from now.
Eckhart was officially attached as Harvey Dent who, through an acid-related incident, turns into Two-Face.
It had been thought that whilst Dent will be in the movie, The Dark Knight will simply introduce him as a character, with Two-Face being the villain for the third movie.
Now Eckhart has told MTV: I play Harvey Dent. Harvey Two-Face. They are both in the movie.
This essentially confirms the villains appearance, but to what extent the villainous side of Dent is involved remains to be seen.
Bat-fans have near enough been begging for a sneak peak of the film, so much so that several fan-made versions (masquerading as the real deal) have appeared on the Internet.
Warners may be looking to make their dreams come true very early, with a teaser planned for release in two weeks attached to The Simpsons Movie.
A source contacted website joblo.com claiming a teaser will be ready for that release, presumably looking to get as many families excited about the film as possible.
Finally, the same site reports that, to bridge the gap between the first and second movies, a straight-to-DVD anime movie will be released. The Dark Knight is scheduled for a US release on 18 June 2008- a year on Wednesday.
