Ex-Arsenal captain Thierry Henry last night announced that he was divorcing his wife of four years.

The soccer ace, who recently made a move from Arsenal to Barcelona, has been spotted partying and visiting casinos every night during his recent 5-day trip to Paris.

Henry�s lawyer confirmed the split from his wife, former model Claire, with whom he shares a two-year-old daughter with.

�Thierry is extremely saddened by the breakdown of his marriage�

�He is anxious to move on with his life and maintain the best possible relationship he can with Claire for the benefit of their daughter Tea, whom he loves very much.�

Whilst the football ace has denied the split was caused by adultery - rumours have surfaced that Henry had split with Claire months ago.
