Hugh Grant is back with Jemima Khan � and the actor has even proposed to his on-off girlfriend.

The pair split earlier this year after Hugh supposedly refused to acquiesce to Jemima�s demands for commitment � but now it�s Khan who�s playing hard to get.

A source tells the Mail, �Jemima is saying they are just friends and that it was a coincidence they met in Paris, but all the signs are pointing to the relationship being on again.

�There could have been a clean break but he has begged Jemima for another chance. He has proposed but Jemima isn't sure whether she wants to enter another marriage.

"They started seeing each other again in April. It was on the understanding that they would give it a proper shot and that if they could make it work, they would marry.

"Hugh has proposed. But one of the reasons they have not made the announcement is because Jemima's mother, Lady Annabel, has told her daughter not to rush into anything.�
