'Led Zeppelin' Mansion Sold

The mansion made famous as Led Zeppelins rehearsal space has been sold on for 6 million.

The property in Dartmouth known as the Old Rectory was owned by John Paul Jones in the seventies and was used by the seminal rockers to practise.

Film star Kate Winslet was said to be one celebrity interested in buying the property off new owner, former Duran Duran manager Michael Berrow.

Whether she did actually buy it is unknown however, as the estate agents who put the deal through were forced to sign a secrecy agreement.
