Wentworth Miller: My Parents Wanted Me To Be A Cop

Wentworth Miller has told of how his parents wanted him to become a police officer instead of an actor.

According to the Prison Break star his parents encouraged him to be a policeman and bring home a steady pay cheque.

They were horrified. They'd invested all this time and money in my future, hoping to launch me into some sort of stable career Miller told W.E.N.N

"All my father knew was I didn't have a place to go every morning, I was sleeping in, and I didn't have a steady pay cheque.

"I would get emails from him reminding me that the LA Police Department had a volunteer programme, as a way of giving me something to do. But now, of course, they're pleased."
