Anna Nicole’s Doctors Under Criminal Investigation

Over claims they over-prescribed drugs to the late model...

The California Department of Justice (DOJ) is conducting a criminal investigation into the doctors who prescribed medicines to Anna Nicole Smith in the months leading up to her death.

According to TMZ, the DOJ is particularly interested in two doctors?Khristine Eroshevich and Sandeep Kapoor.

Dr. Kapoor prescribed methadone to Anna under an assumed name when she was eight months pregnant, whilst Dr. Eroshevich ordered a virtual pharmacy of drugs for Anna, five days after her son Daniel died.

Kapoor?s attorney, Ellyn Garofalo, tells TMZ, ?Dr. Kapoor declined the request for prescriptions. He would never prescribe that combination of drugs, in such large dosages, to any patient.?

An investigation by the Medical Board of California is also pending.

I have never heard of a physician that prescribes methadone to anyone unless they are heroin addicts. If she was in pain, there are other meds that would have helped. Also if this physician of hers, Kristine was such a good friend of hers, they should have taken Anna against her will to the hospital for treatment. She problably could have been saved with some IV fluids and antibiotics. Money is what these folks were after all along. Her broken heart is what killed her in the end. I guess

Anyoe know the latest on ANS's Psychiatrist, Khristine Eroshevich, M.D.? Is she being investigated? Could she be open for a civil suit? Eroshevich's former employer LA. County Retirement Fund (LACERA) fired her. Anyone know any more about that? Thx, Mark C.

It's Criminal conduct by Eroshevich. She needs to be held accountable.

Anyone heard more on the Employer LA County Employees Retireement Ass. (LACERA) that fired her? What about those Eroshevich LACERA claims she denied to disabled employees. Shouldn't they be overturned based on her lack of credibility, professionalism, Integrety and honesty? Many of these legitamately disabled employees need this retirement $; and have 'earned' it in service of the County of Los Angeles.
