X Factor’s Shayne Ward Launches Film Career

?X Factor? winner Shayne Ward has been in talks with veteran movie director Oliver Stone about a possible starring role in his latest movie, if reports (probaby ?leaked? by his own people) are to be believed.

Shane was filming the video in California for his new single ?If That?s OK With You? when the 60-year-old Platoon director is said to have come on set to surprise him.

The talent-show star has previously said that he would like to ?branch out? into film.

?I?d love a crack at Hollywood. I did performing arts at school. Hopefully I can try some acting.?

Shayne?s last single, released in April 2006, reached the dizzying heights of number 14 on the UK charts.

Let's hope he has more success at acting.
