Jesse Metcalfe has pleaded for Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle to take him back.

The Desperate Wives actor claims reports he cheated on her following a stint in rehab earlier this year are false, and he wants to rekindle their 14 month relationship.

He says, �I have to persuade her that I didn't cheat on her. I was always faithful to her and never cheated.

�Those girls that I was photographed with meant nothing to me. I would never betray Nadine.

"I still love her and it is my dream that we get back together soon."

Metcalfe also claims reports he has fallen off the wagon since receiving treatment for �alcohol issues� are false, insisting he has been "100 per cent sober for three and a half months�.
