Who would have thought it - The Spice Girls are officially back together!

Girl power was in full force as the five ladies held a press conference today to announce that they have re-united and are going on a world tour.

Mel B, Mel C, Geri, Victoria and Emma all looked very grown up as the announcement was made at the 02 Arena in London (formerly the Millennium Dome).

Their world tour is expected to take them to countries such as Britain, Spain, Germany, China, Australia, South Africa, Argentina and the USA.

The five members last performed together in 1998 when Geri Halliwell quit the group. After a poor performing final album �Forever� in 2000, the four remaining members went their separate ways.

At the moment, apart from the world tour, there is no news of any fresh material from the outfit.

Simon Fuller, the man behind their phenomenal success, is once again masterminding their world tour.

The Spice Girls have sold a massive 55million records worldwide and notched up nine number one singles in the UK alone.
