Michael Moore Locks Away ‘Sicko’

Director fears government plot to steal film...

Amid the controversy surrounding his new movie, director Michael Moore has revealed he has locked away the negative for Sicko in order to prevent Government insiders from stealing it before its release.

Moore is facing arrest as officials claim that his trip to Cuba (to film parts of his documentary) was illegal and that the film could be confiscated.

The director has stated that whilst he does not fear prison, he is worried the film will be taken from him before it hits cinemas.

We've responded to the government Moore said, saying we did not break the law, that this is the work of journalism. They want us to name the names of the people that we took there and I won't do that.

We've taken the necessary precautions to protect the negative of the film so that it can't be confiscated. The next move is theirs.

The documentary will (hopefully) be released in the US on June 29th.
