Joss Stone is denying rumours that she is becoming close to Prince William.

On Saturday, The Daily Mirror reported that the heir to the throne has been calling the soul songstress about the upcoming Concert For Diana and that the two were becoming more than just good pals.

But a source from Joss Stone�s camp says that Joss and the Prince are not getting close.

"They talked about what songs she is going to sing at the concert" said Dave Woolf, a rep for Joss Stone "That gets translated into a story about how William has been bombarding her with calls.�

According to Woolf, Joss plans to sing the song 'You Had Me', a cover of the Queen classic 'Under Pressure'  as well as a song by Tina Turner that the late Princess particularly liked.

A source from the palace has also denied rumours of romance, claiming that the Princes have taken an active role in organising the concert, and where necessary, conversing with the acts.
