British transvestite comedian-turned-actor Eddie Izzard has joined the cast of Valkyrie, directed by Bryan Singer and starring Tom Cruise.

It�s unclear what role Izzard will play, however it is said to be a prominent part.

Izzard has gone from strength-to-strength since moving to Hollywood. Appearing in Ocean�s 13 released earlier this month.

His regular role in US TV series The Riches has been tipped as an award-winner.
