Marc Forster, director of ?Monster?s Ball? and ?Finding Neverland?, has been hired as the director for the next Bond film.
The film has yet to be titled (at the moment it?s simply known as ?Bond 22?), however it?s rumoured to be called ?Risico?, after one of Ian Fleming?s short stories.
German director Forster was brought in after ?Casino Royale? director Martin Campbell ruled himself out of the production, said to be a direct sequel, in terms of story, to the 21st Bond film.
Speaking about the assignment Forster said: "The new direction that the Bond character has taken offers a director a host of new possibilities and I look forward to working with Daniel Craig."
?Bond 22? is scheduled for a November 2008 release starring Daniel Craig, Judy Dench and ?ER? star Goran Visnjic is rumoured to appear.
