Troubled singer George Michael has agreed to appear in a one-off episode of Extras after being targeted by the show�s creator and star Ricky Gervais.

The Careless Whisper singer was propositioned by Ricky as the pair shared a cab ride following a meal at The Ivy.

George�s recent scandals � he was sentenced to 100 hours of community service earlier this month for driving while unfit � made George a prime target for Ricky who encourages stars to poke fun of their public image on the show.

An insider tells the Daily Star, �George immediately agreed to appear on Extras, it�s going to be absolute dynamite.�

The pair became friends after the press reported that Ricky had called George a �bender� during an awards show.
