Paris Hilton has turned to religion to get through her stint in jail.
Speaking to The View�s Barbara Walters, the heiress said that she is ditching the �I�m dumb and cute� act because God has given her another chance to make a difference.
�I used to act dumb, it was an act. That act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who look up to me�Now, I would like to make a difference�God has given me this new chance.�
Paris, who was sent back to jail after being released on medical grounds, just three days into her sentence, told Walters that the reason why she ended up in jail was because her soul was crying out.
�My spirit or soul didn�t like the way I was being seen, and that is why I was being sent to jail�
