George Clooney has said the re-jailed Paris Hilton deserves everything she gets for using �cheap publicity� to stay famous.
The actor says the socialite is bereft of talent, and therefore has courted disaster by trying to use her high profile to her advantage.
He says, �You can only get so far without any discernible talent. Then you either work or use cheap publicity tricks to keep the public's attention.
"Then you are in no position to complain if, like Paris, you are on the receiving end of bad publicity."
Paris was sent back to prison yesterday to complete a 45 day sentence for ignoring a drink-driving ban, after originally being freed after just three days on �medical grounds�.
