A gold-plated gun once belonging to Elvis Presley is expected to fetch more than �10,000 at auction.

The music legend gave the piece to actor Jack Lord � star of hit TV show Hawaii Five-O � in 1973.

The gun is one of a number of Elvis�s former possession going on sale at the Beverley Hills Hilton later this month.

You will also be able to bid on a prescription pill bottle containing Elvis�s anti-histamine pills and the microphone used for Elvis�s world radio debut in October 1954.

The RCA mouthpiece has also broadcast the dulcet tones of Dolly Parton and Hank Williams.
