Rumours are spreading like crazy in LA that Paris Hilton may in fact be released from prison today, after just THREE days of her 23 day sentence.

The Sun reports that sources at Los Angeles Century Regional Detention Facility have claimed the hotel heiress is due for release imminently.

According to the website photographers and TV crews were swarming around the jail from around 11pm local time on Wednesday (which is 7am this morning UK time) hoping to catch the party-girl leaving.

A prison source said: "The talk is that Paris is being released any time now thanks to good behaviour."

If true the outrage would be hard to contain...3 days?! Is that really punishment?
