Nikki Sanderson is set to make a shock return to Coronation Street, just two years after leaving the show.

The 23-year old, who plays hairdresser Candice Stowe, is to dramatically turn up at Sarah-Louise Platt's wedding.

An insider told The Mirror: "She was a big favourite with viewers and her character is one of the sexiest we've had in recent years. It's great to have her back"

Viewers will have to wait until the autumn to see the return of Nikki.
