Kaiser Chief Claims Credit For Spice Girls Reunion

Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has claimed the dubious credit of persuading Mel C to rejoin the Spice Girls.

Sporty Spice had long resisted attempts to get the pop band back together for a money-spinning reunion, but, according to Nick, a short chat with him was all that was needed.

He tells MTV, �I said �You should do it. Now is the perfect time.� Mel said, �Do you really think?� I said �Yeah.�

�So she said, �Right I�ll do it.� I asked, �Are you kidding?� and she said �No.��
