The man credited with turning the Rolling Stones into a massive financial success story has retired after 37 years with the veteran rockers.

Prince Rupert Loewenstein - nick-named the 'Human Calculator' - has stepped down from his day-to-day duties as the band's business manager.

Having got the band out of several scrapes with the Inland Revenue and record company contracts, Loewenstein has overseen the band's affairs as they've chalked up a ?1 billion profit.

A spokesperson says, "Prince Rupert Loewenstein is no longer taking care of The Rolling Stones day-to-day business but is currently retained on some aspects of their career."

1 billion!!!!! Wait till poor Jerry Hall gets wind of that number!! She is already pissed about how much Lady Gold-digger {may} get for pretending she was in love, for just a couple of years!! Poor Jerry only got 30 million and an apartment worth 10 million!! You would think these gold-diggers would take that 40 million, and go buy a house, instead of living in an apartment, next to all the clubs!! LOSER with a capital L!!!!!!

The Rolling Stones need to start their own reality/talk show. It’s not right that in their 37 years as a band they have less profit than Oprah. They should start their own empire/talk show with The Stones sitting around on couches discussing current events, etc. Or, their own reality show searching for a candidate to “Get Stoned with the Stones.” Something must be done to fix this imbalance. Oprah has more than The Stones? This isn't right.

Oprah doesn't have to split it 4 ways, and all of The Stones have been pissing money away on, god only knows what, for years!! When your wasted like they were all the time and on the road all the time, I doubt there wasn't a few holes in the book keeping!! Ask Ozzy, he will tell you all about it!!

Yea, I'm sure that Prince Rupert Loewenstein has a few extra pounds in his account! Now wouldn't that be a fun talk show though? That's one I would watch. They could charge people to get in and be a part of the audience. Maybe they could end with a song. It could be called “View of The Stones.”
