Matt Damon has announced in Cannes that he is �done� with the character of Jason Bourne, which he plays for the third time in �The Bourne Ultimatum� this summer.

In Cannes to promote �Ocean�s 13', Damon was asked whether the third film in the series would be the last time he would play the role.

�The Bourne thing is definitely done with,� the actor stated in a press conference.

This sparked rumours that either the series will finish with �Ultimatum�, or that another actor will take over the part, James Bond-style.

Whatever the future of the character, �The Bourne Ultimatum�, which also stars Julia Stiles, Brian Cox and Irish actor Paddy Considine, will hit cinema screens in August.
