Warner Bros have confirmed that Joel Silver, producer of �The Matrix� and �Lethal Weapon�, will be bringing 80�s cartoon/toy icon He-Man to the big screen!

Warners have announced that �He-Man and the Masters of the Universe� has gone into pre-production, with a script written by Justin Marks.

The studio says that pre-production on the film is pending on the owners of the toy range, Mattel, approving the script.

Warners have stated that rumours of Brad Pitt playing the title role are false, as the role of He-Man is yet to be cast.
