A sports memorabilia dealer is reportedly planning to sell the suit and tie that former American footballer OJ Simpson wore during his court case for the murder of his ex-wife and her friend.
Alfred Beardsley has contacted Fred Goldman, father of the man OJ Simpson was accused of slaughtering, to confirm that he plans to acquire the items and then sell them on for $100,000.
A lawyer for Goldman has told TMZ that he has suspicions that OJ Simpson himself is behind the sale and is asking for the suit to be turned over to the L.A. County Sheriffs Department.
Simpson currently still owes the Goldmans in excess of $30millon so if he is behind the sale, he may be forced to hand over the profits.
Beardsley is working with the family on a deal that satisfies both parties.
