Footballer David Beckham will be named as the �Greatest Briton Overseas� in a glitzy awards ceremony tonight.
The former England midfielder will pick up the inaugural award at London�s South Bank after flying in from his Madrid home.
The new Greatest Britons 2007 ceremony will also crown the �Greatest Living Briton� from an eclectic range short-list of stars including Queen Elizabeth II, Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Margaret Thatcher and, er, Robbie Williams.
Prime Minister-in-waiting Gordon Brown will join former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Myleene Klass, amongst others, in presenting awards at the bash, which will be broadcast live on ITV tonight from 9pm.
