Kylie Minogue is preparing to buy a house in Brighton so she can get some peace and quiet by the sea.

The pop star had been sharing a house with her French boyfriend Olivier Martinez in Paris, but has been looking for a new home following their split earlier this year.

Now Minogue � who called reports last week she is dating married film director Alexander Daum �offensive� � is eyeing up a �3.5 million four-bedroom mansion near Hove Lagoon, which would make her neighbours with Heather Mills and Fatboy Slim.

A pal tells the Daily Mail, �'Kylie was bought up in Melbourne and wants to live on the coast again because she misses the sea.�
