An eating disorder charity say they are �thrilled� after actress Kate Winslet donated money from her libel case.

The Titanic star has given Norfolk�s Beat charity �3,000, following her successful action against Grazia magazine, who had falsely claimed Winslet had had visited a diet doctor.

Beat�s Mary George says, �Kate said at the time that she would donate her winnings to an eating disorder charity and that is what she has done.  I think she was inundated by charities asking for help.

"She is a very good role model and this is a very thoughtful way of highlighting the issue."
