David Hasselhoff Set To Write Autobiography

Troubled star David Hasselhoff has been in the public eye for decades, although his new found recognition as student idol/alcoholic has prompted him to write an autobiography detailing his life.

The former Knight Rider star has been gaining a lot of press recently, with videos of him being released on the internet in an overly intoxicated state filmed by his daughters triggering questions about his mental health.

Talking to TV show 'Access Hollywood', the Hoff said: "I've gone through some rough times, going through a divorce and things were like, you know, when you are on top of the world with 'Baywatch' and 'Knight Rider' and then things were starting to unravel"

"I didn't work for two years. I stopped drinking and I got my whole life together. And I thought, 'I'm going through some down time and have some scandal in my life so I'm thinking of writing a book.' " he added.
