A bewildered cab driver found himself at the centre of a blazing row between Pete Doherty and girlfriend Kate Moss during which the Babyshambles frontman confessed to messing up his life.
Cab driver, Roland Andrews, picked up a dishevelled Doherty in North London at 1.30am.
Doherty asked the driver to take him to Mosss house in St Johns Wood, where he became caught up in the small-hours row.
Andrews tells the Daily Mirror, Then all of a sudden Kate comes running out in her skimpy nightdress and hurls a glass at my cab.
She was screaming all sorts at him and Pete shouted at me to head for the Cotswolds to get as far away from her as possible.
As I started driving he tried to explain the ruckus, saying, Women trouble. Ive messed up my life. Ive messed up with everyone around me.
On arrival at Kates Cotswolds house, Doherty tried to pay the 250 cab fare by offering Andrews the pick of Kates possessions.
He asked me to help him unload his stuff into Kates house and then he said, If theres anything here you want then help yourself to it. The missus wont mind, says Andrews who refused the offer.
Doherty is currently on bail following his arrest on Saturday for possession of crack cocaine and cannabis.
