Razorlight And U2 In Worst Pop Lyric Top Five

Razorlight and U2 have made the top five �Worst ever pop lyric� in a new BBC poll.

Johnny Borrell�s informative yet slightly uninspirational, �And I met a girl/She asked me my name/I told her what it was� from 2005�s �Somewhere Else�  came third in the vote for Marc Riley�s Radio 6 show.

U2�s 'Elevation' line, �I�ve got no self control/Been living like a mole now/Going down, excavation/High and high in the sky/You make me feel like I can flySo high/Elevation� was fifth.

Oasis, Duran Duran and Human League also featured in the top ten, but Des�Ree beat off Snap�s notorious �I�m as serious as cancer/When I say rhythm is a dancer�, with her David Brent approved lyric from �Life�.

All together now; �I don�t want to see a ghost/It�s the sight that I fear most/I�d rather have a piece of toast/Watch the evening news�.
