In what may well be our fave story of the day, Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly signed up to play Freddie Mercuy.

Johnny Depp had originally been mooted for the lead role in the bio-pic, but producers and the surviving members of Queen have apparently been impressed by Borat's Freddiesque look.

A source tells the Daily Mirror, "Film makers are working flat out to get the best possible script. Sacha loves the idea he can get away with playing Freddie after modelling Borat's look on him."

Can't wait to see that one!

Being French-speaking, please excuse my English clerical errors. Borat??? No way! I am seriously convinced that this role is enormously more appropriate for JOHNNY DEPP than this *clown* of Borat! JOHNNY'S undeniable talent wich have been prooved in so many kind of character, all played with BRIO but, curiously, not recognized as he'd deserved by his pairs!
