Paris Hilton Faces Jail Time Over Drink-Driving Charges

Paris Hilton goes to court today over drink-driving charges, with the prosecuting lawyer demanding jail time for the star.

Los Angeles city attorney Rockard J Delgadillo says in court papers that ?Hilton be ordered to serve 45 days in County Jail? for "flagrantly disregarding" a drink drive ban imposed in January, according to The Sun.

Delgadillo also wants Paris' Bentley to be impounded and most intrigingly the star to be banned from boozing for 90 whole days.

If the judge agrees that means the socialite will be fitted with a device that alerts police if she is drinking alcohol.

First offense- even big bird, deserves a second chance!!! Second offence- take her to the projects and introduce her to men that don't believe in working for a living, either!!

This isn't her first offence. It is a violation of her probation. which in the court of law is concidered 2nd offence. The average person would get their probation revoked and go to jail for the remainder of their sentencing. Why should she be treated any different. I also feel she should be court ordered to do more community service, attend a MADD class and have the alcohol monitor (SCRAM) placed on her ankle for no less then 60 days.

Paris is a rich spoiled brat that feels she is above the law because of her name. What would taking her to the projects have to do with anything. Instead, take her to the family that has lost a loved to a drunk driver, let her see the pictures of someone that will never celebrate another birthday or holiday. See the faces of the children that will not ever have their mommy and/or daddy read them a bedtime story. Or the parents that will never have the chance to see their children grow up.
