Brett Ratner has let rip about his distain for the paparazzi and expresses his resentment that their presence prevents him from two-timing his girlfriends.
He seems to hold a particular grudge against entertainment news site, TMZ, and their use of video cameras to capture celebrities on the move.
The director tells Razar, "I've had so many bad experiences with the paparazzi. But I really don't like the videos.... I don't like TMZ; I can't have multiple girlfriends when I'm on TMZ. They say you're out to dinner with one girl when maybe it's innocent. They'll come up and say, 'That girl walking behind you is with you,' and I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'"
But there�s no sneaking around or hiding under blankets for Ratner. Instead, he bribes lensmen to stay away.
"I give them money to leave me alone. Not much, though, because they're desperate. They'll take whatever they can get," Ratner says.
The director is currently previewing his latest film, The Grand, at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
