Boy George Arrested Over Assault Allegations

Boy George has been arrested by police after a man alleged the singer chained him up at his London flat.

Norwegian Auden Carlsen says he visited the star?s Shoreditch home at midnight on Friday after agreeing to pose for photographs in exchange for money.

The 28-year-old ? who says he made the arrangement over Gaydar networking website ? alleges that as soon as he entered the property he was grabbed by George and another man and shackled to a wall.

Carlsen tells The Mirror, ?I was convinced I was going to die. George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down."

Carlsen claims to have fled the flat in his underwear after managing to wrench the hook from the wall.

A police spokesperson says, ?We investigated reports of an alleged forced imprisonment and common assault made by a 28-year-old man. A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation."
