Sugababes Star Arrested For Assault

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old at a Guildford, Surrey bar.

Police were called after the 23-year-old had reportedly violently attacked the teenager at Bar Med on Saturday night, but Amelle is said to have lunged at the girl again in front of officers.

The girl ? who does not want to be named ? tells The Sun, ?She just went mad and attacked me. I was thrown into a friend and we both hit the ground.

?Amelle started kicking me but ended up hitting my friend in the head as well. It was terrifying. The blows just rained down and she wouldn?t stop."

?I couldn?t believe it. She didn?t care police were there, she just went for me again. The police grabbed her and locked her in the van. She?s crazy.?

The incident is said to be the result of a long-running feud between the pair, and left Amelle spending the night in cells.

A police spokesperson confirmed, ?A 23-year-old female was arrested following an incident at a Guildford town centre bar. She was questioned and released on bail pending further enquiries.?

However, Berrabah has now flown to Los Angeles to record new Sugababes material.
