Virgie Arthur has appealed against a ruling allowing granddaughter Danielynn�s father Larry Birkhead to take her out of the Bahamas and back to the US.

Tmz.com reports that Anna Nicole Smith's mother has objected to a judge's ruling that allowed Birkhead to take his daughter back to America.

The ruling granted permission to leave the island providing Birkhead returned with Danielynn for the June 9 custody hearing.
