Doubts have already been cast over a potential 'Spider-Man 4', after the trilogy's director Sam Raimi admitted that he feels "exhausted".

Both Tobey Maguire and Kirstin Dunst have expressed an interest in making another Spider-Man film, but only if the original cast and crew return.

But Raimi has said: "I'm just exhausted, and I need to get away from it for a while." 

He didn't however rule out a return to Spider-Man in the near future.
