Those infamous Anna Nicole Smith diaries have finally been sold, after failing to sell the first time round.

The journals were sold by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, femalefirst is reporting, and were snapped up by an unnamed Texas-based recording company executive who bought both diaries for the rock bottom price of $59,750.

Two unnamed bidders fought for the journals which had been bought by the auction house from a German businessman who bought the items on eBay for more than $500,000

It is believed the diaries are from the early 1990s.
