Heather Mills has supported phone rant father Alec Baldwin saying he should be forgiven for losing his temper at his daughter.
The soon-to-be-ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney says Baldwin was acting out of love when he left a phone message on 11-year-old Irelands cell phone calling her a rude, thoughtless little pig.
She told US radios Ryan Seacrest yesterday, You've got a man who's madly in love with his daughter who lives on the other side of the coast, who doesn't get to see her very much.
People lose it, forgive him. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house; we are not here to judge and criticise what other people do.
"It's wrong to speak to your daughter like that... I would never talk to my daughter like that, but... his daughter lives with Kim Basinger and we have no idea what goes on behind closed doors.
Actor Bijou Philips whose sister is married to Alecs brother Billy has also supported the 49-year-old actor.
He says, I'm proud to have him in my family. I have 100 per cent faith in him as a father.
"There's two sides to every story and I know it seems like a pretty intense message and I know he's apologised about it. But, I know Alec's a really great guy and he's a really good father."
