X Factor chiefs will today find out they have escaped a fine over a voting scandal which left viewers 200,000 out of pocket.
TV watchdogs will reportedly give the ITV show a mere warning, despite them overcharging viewers voting over their interactive digital TVs being overcharged the six figure sum.
A source tells The Daily Mirror, The investigation into X Factor was relatively straightforward. Although a significant number of viewers were initially overcharged, programme-makers quickly apologised and rectified it.
"The adjudication will criticise the voting system but in reality it will amount to nothing more than a slap on the wrists."
