Dr Sophie Kain was the latest Apprentice contestant to hear Sir Alan Sugar bark those immortal words �You�re fired!�

Quantum physicist Kain was fired after struggling with the latest task of selling lollipops to children at London Zoo.

Delivering his final verdict, Sir Alan said: "This is the real world love, this is not your scientific protons and neutrons. I'm wondering, have I got another one here who should really stick to what they know?...You're fired!"

However, Sophie admitted she was "quite pleased" with her dismissal, adding "I thought what we were asked to do was a little bit intimidating,"
 
Kain also said she enjoyed her time under Alan�s tutorage: "I've learnt from the programme that I value my principles more than money. I'm never going to be rich but I am going to be successful."

"The boardroom is a phenomenal experience. I know this sounds weird, but I'd prefer to be in the boardroom with Sir Alan than be at the Royal Ballet.

"I can save up for a ticket for the ballet but being in the boardroom with Sir Alan is a one-off. Like it or lump it, you will learn something about yourself."

Sophie also revealed who she wanted to win the competition: Katie. "If Sir Alan is looking for an all rounder, including sales and leadership savvy, she's the one."
