Geri Halliwell is to publish a series of childrens books, featuring some familiar celebrity characters.
Halliwells celeb pals who have agreed to be featured are - Coleen McLoughlin, Gordan Ramsey and fellow ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, according to The Sun newspaper.
The 34-year-old yummy mummy, says she started writing the books whilst pregnant with her daughter Bluebell Madonna, now aged 11 months.
The books are about a nine-year-old girl school girl called Ugenia Lavender who solves mysteries. Halliwell said, Its the rebirth of girl power. Ugenias got attitude.
Of Ugenias celebrity inspired friends, Geri claims, Ugenias friends and family are well-rounded misfits that we recognise in our everyday lives.
The characters Ive built around her are both flawed and inspirational just like us.
In one story, Victorias character Princess Posh Vatoria arrives at a birthday party in a limo. Ramseys character is also an exact depiction of his true life character - Uncle Gordan is a celebrity chef who shouts at people while teaching them to cook.
Following in the footsteps if her idol Madonna, Geri also says that she is hoping her books will reach out to all kids, There is a positive message in there, but it tastes like chocolate not cabbage. It would be amazing if Ugenia Lavender encouraged both girls and boys to read.
The book is due to be released as of next May, with six books being published monthly. Geri will also release a song and audio book to accompany the Ugenia Lavender series.
Madonna has also released a series of children's story books,
Lucky Geri didnt decide to base a character on other fellow Spice Girl, Mel.B with all her Eddie Murphy traumas!
