Disney has changed it�s policy to allow for same-sex commitment ceremonies at all of its resorts and on its cruise ships.
The about face happened after Disney were approached by a gay couple wanting to participate in the Fairy Tale Wedding program.
Disney Parks and Resorts PR-person Donn Walker said "We believe this change is consistent with Disney's long-standing policy of welcoming every guest in an inclusive environment, we want everyone who comes to celebrate a special occasion at Disney to feel welcome and respected."
The move is expected to provoke a backlash from intolerant homo-hating Christian groups. In 2005, Southern Baptists ended an 8 year boycott of Disney theme parks for violating "moral righteousness and traditional family values."
