Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond is moving onto the airwaves � he�s getting his own Radio 2 show.

Hammond � affectionately known as Hamster - is doing four music specials for the station, which will go out on the spring, Easter, August and Christmas bank holidays.

He tells the Daily Mirror, �My first job was in radio, so to have the chance to share some time with listeners on the biggest station in the country is a huge and exciting opportunity."

The star is a busy little bee at the moment, as well as his Top Gear duties he�s writing a book about his recovery from his high speed crash whilst filming for the show last year.
