Heartbroken Hilary Duff has revealed that she nearly scrapped her entire new album after her split with Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, as all the songs were about how much in love she was.
"There are some songs about being in love and it being great, and songs about it not feeling as good" said Hilary.
The songs about love not being so great were written after Hilary decided not to scrap the album, but instead balance the theme a little more.
She added: "It made me nervous at first, because I thought, 'I wrote these songs and I want to use them for my record and I can't.' Then I was like, 'Wait, I can'"
The album, 'Dignity', is out now, with both good love songs and bad love songs.
